In 2026, the Washington State Catholic Conference (WSCC) celebrates 50 years of faithful advocacy on behalf of the Catholic bishops of Washington state. Since its founding in 1976, the WSCC has served as the public policy voice of the Catholic Church in Washington, helping bring Catholic Social Teaching into public life and advocating for the dignity of every person.
This anniversary reflection honors the bishops, staff, board members, Catholic partners, advocates, and communities who have walked with the WSCC through five decades of service, witness, and engagement in the public square.
